Persuasive Nonfiction Texts

We will be reading persuasive texts, from editorials to opinion essays.  One of the topics/themes within these texts focuses on censorship.  On Monday, during our rotating stations, you will be listening to famous and opinionated commentator, Andy Rooney, give his take on the concept of censorship.  Make sure to fill out the main ideas and supporting details of his argument (you don't have to agree with his position) web while listening to his audio-visual editorial.  Feel free to watch the video more than once in order to adequately fill out the web.  Click on the link below to get started:
