Mapping out a Persuasive Argument
We will be reading persuasive texts, from editorials to opinion
essays this week. One of the topics/themes within these texts focuses on
censorship. On Tuesday, during our rotating stations, you will be
listening to famous and opinionated commentator, Andy Rooney, give his
take on the concept of "censorship". Make sure to fill out the main ideas
and supporting details of his argument (you don't have to agree with
his position) web while listening to his audio-visual editorial. Feel
